While working on a logo for a local Southern Gospel group I was researching vintage ablum covers from the 50s - 70s. My goal is to create a logo that has a warm hand crafted feel to it. While searching I found this great post from graphicmonkee.com that shows the steps in an easy to understand format to take digital vector lettering (works just as well for vector images) and transform them into a vintage hand drawn or printed look. After I submit my ideas to the client I'll post them to show how it turned out.
